Mark Lowerison is the Scientific Director of the Cumming School of Medicine Clinical Research Unit at the University of Calgary. In this role Mark leads the technical and methodological service support teams offering research support services to CSM researchers and their collaborators.
In addition to Clinical Resarch Unit responsibilities, Mark is a PhD Student in the Department of Community Health Sciences under the supervision of Dr. Herman Barkema and Dr. Rob Deardon. In his PhD work, Mark is focusing his training on applications of machine learning and predictive statistics to clinical decision making.
